The consultant is required to provide full Post-Contract Professional Consultancy Services for General and Site Supervision and Post-Contract Quantity Surveying in accordance with Professional Service Agreement General Conditions of Engagement 2010.
The Scope of Services is to be amplified and added to as follows:
The Consultant’s attention is drawn to the fact that the following responsibilities, whether explicit or implied in the above PSA Table of Services, shall also include but are not limited to:
(a) Preparation of Road Opening (RO) applications and delivery thereof to Service Authorities and all follow up procedures as necessary.
(b) Preparation and submission of As-Built Drawings and submission of Record Sheets for the Works including obtaining the necessary approvals and release/clearance certificate from Drainage Projects Geographic Information Systems (DPGIS) of the Drainage Networks Operations & Maintenance Department - Asset Affairs. The Consultant shall also make a digital copy of the signed PSA Supervision Contract document and include same for PDS clearance.
(c) Attendance of the Consultant Staff and continued responsibilities during the contract period shall take account of any other additional hours that are reasonably necessary, at no extra cost to the Contract. Attendance and continued responsibilities during the Works Maintenance period, up to and including the issue of the Maintenance Certificate of the Works.
(d) Obtaining Drainage Projects Prime Documents Section (DPPDS) ‘Release Form’ from the Engineering Information Systems Storage Section of Technical Service Department.
Description of Construction Contract Works .
The Project is located in Muraikh Zone No.36 and broadly comprise of the following work:
1.2.1 Approximately 4.0 Km Sewer Networks including new pipe construction & replacement of old pipes & upgrading existing Sewer Network, by open cut method.
1.2.2 Demolishing existing septic tanks appropriately, providing house connections and providing future connections stubs for the empty plots. Providing additional Inspection chambers wherever required.
1.2.3 Integrating existing sewer network, draining towards PS 14/1 & PS 15 with proposed network.
1.2.4 Testing & Commissioning.
1.2.5 Necessary traffic diversions, over pumping and temporary flow diversion wherever necessary.
1.2.6 Obtaining necessary Authority approvals prior to construction & after completion.
1.2.7 Reinstating Road surface / Pavements, providing necessary Marker Posts wherever necessary and site clearance before & after the work.
