The work has to be carried out at the existing services roads, flyovers and underpasses of Khalifa Al Attiya – Al Asiri Interchange inside Doha. The Contract scope of work for this site is mainly repair of the road works, structural elements and storm water drainage system. The majority of works in this Contract are related with road works which require specialisation in road works with the assistance of either In-house or Sub-contractors to deal with the other works such as structural and storm water drainage works.
Khalifa Al Attiya - Al-Asiri Interchange
Al-Asiri Interchange is located at the intersection of Salwa road and (D) Ring Road. Khalifa Al-Attiya Interchange is located at the intersection of Ali bin Abi-Talib Street and (D) Ring Road. The Interchange is also known as the Midmac interchange.
The interchanges consist of the following features:
• An Underpass along (D) Ring Road crossing first Al-Asiri roundabout and then Khalifa Al Attiya signalized intersection, having a total width 30 m (including 3 traffic lanes 10.95 m wide, median and outside edge shy distances 0.5 m wide in each direction), a median 3.4 m wide and with a measured vertical clearance more than 6.0 m (at both interchanges) and approximate length of about 1360 m;
• Al Asiri flyover along Salwa Road crossing D Ring Road, passing over Al Asiri roundabout at grade part, having a total width 30 m (including 3 traffic lanes 10.95 m wide, median and outside edge shy distances 0.5 m wide in each direction) and approximate length of about 800 m;
• At grade roundabout at Al Asiri Interchange with an inscribed circle diameter (ICD) of 86 m and a circulatory width 13 m;
• At grade left turn and signalized intersection at Khalifa Al Attiya Interchange (intersection of D Ring Road and Ali bin Abi-Talib Street).
