The Consultant shall be appointed under the terms and conditions of the Professional Service Agreement, Conditions of Engagement – 2010 Edition Rev.(A), to provide Post-Contract Professional General, Site Supervision and Quantity Surveying Consultancy Services to Infrastructure Affairs of the Public Works Authority.
Description of Construction Contract Works
The Project comprises the Construction, Completion and Maintenance of Sewers & House Connection Works at Al Muraikh Area and the work comprises of construction of Sewer Lines, House Connection lines, Shallow Chambers, Inspection Chamber and also construction of the necessary Ramp/Backdrop Connections to manholes in order to connect it into the existing network all as described herein.
The work includes the following:
• Construction of 462 and 1453 linear meters of 300 mm & 200 mm dia. ESVC Pipe as Main Sewer Lines and 550 linear meters of 150 mm Dia. VC pipes for 44 nrs. of Open Plots & 4 nrs. of Houses at Al Muraikh Area in Doha.
• The work consists of construction of Manholes 38 nrs., Inspection Chambers 2 nr., Shallow Chambers 1nr., Shallow/Medium/Deep line connections 7 nrs., Ramp/Backdrop Connections 24 nrs. to the new/exist manholes and demolition of septic tanks 4 nr. approximately.
• The above work also consists of Asphalt reinstatement of roads as per new code of practice & Specification for Road Openings, under which the contractor must lay the concrete SRC 20 in trench as backfill material within 1.0 meter from the Finished Road Level up to the bottom of Asphalt base course - phase I only.
The Construction works shall be completed within 365 days.
The works are to be carried out to individual properties at Two (2) locations of Al Muraikh area.
