The Consultant is expected to provide reviews and feedback in a timely manner to allow the execution of the works in accordance with the construction program and if not suggest the corrective measures to be taken to complete the project on time. He is also expected to carryout design checks and to propose any alterations to the design necessitated by the site conditions throughout the Contract Duration. Such alterations must be discussed and submitted to the Engineer for review and approval.
Site Supervision.
The site supervision Scope of Services to be carried out by the Consultant shall include but not limited to: The Scope of Services is to be amplified and added to as follows and the Consultant’s attention is drawn to the fact that the following responsibilities, whether explicit or implied in the above PSA Services, shall also include but are not necessarily limited to:
• monitoring / inspection of the Work;
• assume and verify the quality of material at site;
• check and approve work, in compliance with the specifications;
• prepare list of outstanding works;
• issue non-conformance notices, and ensure that prompt close out of non-conformance is managed;
• review co-ordinate and recommend contractor's technical transmittals;
• process and reply to technical queries;
• review and co-ordinate design documents;
attend progress and technical meetings with the Authority and the Contractor. Carry out any duty as delegated by the Engineer/ Project Manager Etc.
