1 The principal elements of the Works to be constructed are:- 2 Pumping Station PS70: Mechanically raked screen 36m deep housed in a 20m outside diameter (OD) shaft Lifting pumping station 38m diameter and 38m deep with 8Nr pump sets - each nominally rated at 1,316 l/s against 40m head. Provision for two future pumpsets. Forwarding pumping station at or near ground level equipped with 8 Nr pumpsets each nominally rated at 1,316 l/s against 50m head. Provision for two future pumpsets. Associated motor control rooms and generator building. Prestigious Administration Building Workshop Odour control Site works within the PS70 site Pipelines:- 24km of triple 1600mm diameter ductile iron pumping main to Doha North STW with associated air valve chambers, washout chambers and crossover chambers. 12km of single 400mm diameter ductile iron washout pipe laid alongside the triple 1600mm diameter pumping mains. 24km of twin 100 mm dia telemetry ducts.
