The Works Comprises of the Construction of property sewer extension and House Connections together with the Construction of the necessary sewer network pipe line to connect into the existing network all as described herein. The works are to be carried out to open plots, individual properties or group of properties at Al Nuaija Area.
The scope of works are as follows:
• Construction of 702 and 1298 linear meters of 150 mm & 200 mm dia. ESVC Pipe as house connection pipe and main Sewer line respectively .And there is 544 linear meters of 200 dia ESVC pipe to be replaced after removing old pipe at Al Nuaija Area in Doha.
• The work consists of construction of Manholes 40 Nos. out of which 31 Nos. are New manholes and another 9 nr manholes to be constructed after demolishing old manholes, Shallow Chambers 5 nr., Shallow Chambers 1nr., Backdrop Connections 46 Nos. to the new/exist manholes, Ramp Connections 21nr,Straight/shallow Connections 23 Nos. and demolition of septic tanks 13 nr. approximately.
• The above work also consists of Asphalt reinstatement of roads as per new code of practice & Specification for Road Openings, under which the contractor must lay the concrete SRC 20 in trench as backfill material within 1.0 meter from the Finished Road Level up to the bottom of Asphalt base course - phase I only.
The Contractor shall be required to pay charges for Traffic Department of Ministry of Interior as well as “ Excavation Permit” charges for Road Opening of Concerned Municipalities and these allowances should be reflected in the prices.
The actual quantities for whole of the Works are subject to re-measurement in accordance with Sub Clauses 55.1 and 55.2 of the Particular Conditions of Contract.
