The Work Comprises of extension of sewer from MH W1/B8/20 to MHW1/B8/22 and Phase-II reinstatement works as per the attached drawings. It includes excavation, granular bed and surround, pipe laying, backfilling, construction of manholes, chambers, backdrops and ramp connections, reinstatement works etc.

Reinstatement works shall be carried out in accordance with the Amendment to the Code of Practice and Specification for Road Openings in the Highway. (January -2011 edition)

Phase-II reinstatement shall be carried out after removing the existing 70 mm asphalt along the affected length and half width of the road. Phase-II reinstatement shall be Machine Laid and using only approved Class B Road Contractors.

The scope and extent of works forming in this contract is based on Sewer Layout drawings No. DDS/13/HC/01 (copy attached).

 The following Jobs are included in this contract.

1. Extension of sewer from MH W1/B8/20 to MH W1/B8/22

2.   Relaying of existing sewer from MH W1/B8/16 to W1/B8/20 as per new invert levels.

3. Breaking of existing manholes from MH W1/B8/17 to W1/B8/20 and reconstructing the same as per new invert levels.

4. Phase-II reinstatement from MH W1/B8/16 to W1/B8/22

The overall completion period of the project is 120 days.
