The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ manages and delivers projects for multiple sectors through planning and designing to implement buildings according to the highest quality standards. The Building Projects Department in ‘Ashghal’ launched the Project Program Management System (PMDS) as part of its continuous
endeavors to enhance construction works, which is responsible for organizing project implementation phases, including the design and construction phases.
In cooperation with the Gulf Organization for Research and Development (GORD), the projects implemented by Ashghal obtained the GSAS certificate in design and construction with a performance level equivalent to 3 stars, which indicates the authority's keenness to apply sustainability standards to all public buildings in Qatar.
